Job Summary:This role ensures accurate financial reporting, timely month-end closing, and effective account reconciliations. The role provides management with reliable analysis and reports to support informed decision-making, while also ensuring compliance with audits and regulatory requirements. Roles & Responsibilities:Prepare financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements by gathering and organizing financial data for both local and group reporting to ensure compliance and accuracy. Maintain a clear breakdown of balance sheet balances by tracking and reconciling accounts regularly to provide reliable financial records. Execute the month-end closing process by reconciling premiums, claims, and other technical data to deliver timely and accurate financial results. Record and review technical reserves, and retrograde fluctuation by collaborating with actuarial teams to ensure proper valuation and accuracy. Prepare monthly closing, adjusting journal entries by reviewing transactions and applying necessary adjustments to achieve correct financial reporting. Analyze revenues, commissions, and expenses by reviewing monthly transactions and allocations to ensure proper recording and accurate performance tracking. Conduct variance analysis and prepare management reports by summarizing financial data and highlighting discrepancies or trends to support informed decision-making. Support financial audits by providing documentation, reconciliations, and explanations to ensure compliance and facilitate smooth audit processes. Contribute to internal controls development and regulator reporting by assisting in policy enhancements and preparing required reports to strengthen governance and meet regulatory standards. Participate in implementing new financial systems and ensure cross-department collaboration by testing processes and sharing insights to improve efficiency. Pre-requisites (Education and Professional Experience):Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field IFRS Certification (Preferred)3 - 5 years of experience Insurance Background
