Job Type: Full-time | On-site

Job opening: Accountant

Sohar Iron & Billets Company LLC (SIBCO), a manufacturing facility located in Al Buraimi, Oman, is currently in the pre-operational stage and is seeking a responsible and accountant to join our team.

This position is suitable for a candidate capable of accurately performing accounting duties, maintaining proper financial records, and supporting the company's financial control processes during this important phase of development.

Candidate Requirements:

Higher education (Bachelor's degree) in accounting, finance, commerce, or a related field.

Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience.

English language proficiency is required

Good knowledge of accounting, financial reporting, payments, and receivables

Ability to maintain audit and compliance requirements

High sense of responsibility, accuracy, and professional discipline

Primary Responsibilities:

• Maintaining accounting and financial reporting
• Controlling payments and receivables
• Supporting audit and compliance requirements
• Assisting in timely financial reporting
• Monitoring cash flow and financial controls
• Identifying and reporting financial risks as needed

Work Schedule:

6 days a week / 1 day off

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

• accounting : 3 years (Required)
