About the job Group Finance Manager

Hiring: Group Finance Manager
Industry: Construction / Real Estate / Infrastructure
Location: Dubai (DMCC)

Our client is a well-established, multi-entity group operating across the Middle East and Africa, with a strong footprint in construction and real estate development. They are now looking to bring in a Group Finance Manager to take ownership and drive this function forward.

This is not a maintenance role — it is a build-and-own mandate.

You will step into a high-visibility position, working closely with senior leadership, to:

• Lead group-level financial reporting and consolidation
• Establish robust controls, reporting frameworks, and governance
• Drive financial discipline across multiple entities and geographies
• Act as a key partner to leadership on strategic and operational decisions

Key Responsibilities

• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual group consolidation (multi-entity, multi-currency)
• Oversee intercompany accounting, reconciliations, and eliminations
• Lead construction/project finance activities (WIP, job costing, cash flow, project profitability)
• Deliver board-level reports, dashboards, and financial insights
• Ensure UAE VAT, Corporate Tax, and Transfer Pricing compliance
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning (FP&A)
• Strengthen internal controls, policies, and governance frameworks
• Collaborate with external advisors on ERP implementation and finance transformation

Ideal Profile

• 7–12+ years of progressive finance experience with group-level exposure
• Background in construction, infrastructure, or real estate development
• Strong experience in:
  • Group consolidation (IFRS)
  • UAE tax (VAT + Corporate Tax)
  • Transfer Pricing (Master File / Local File)
• Trained in a Big 4 / Tier 1 firm or strong in-house audit/control environment
• Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills (ERP exposure is a plus)
