Job Description:

Accounting Manager / Chief Accountant

Location: Cairo / On-site / Hybrid

Employment Type: Full-Time

About the Company

A Large premium Food Manufacturing Group is looking to hire an Experienced Accounting Manager / Chief Accountant to lead the accounting function, ensure financial accuracy, and maintain full compliance with local and international accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations and the general ledger.
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS / local accounting standards and tax regulations.
• Oversee AP, AR, payroll, and fixed assets.
• Lead month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and banks.
• Supervise and develop the accounting team.
• Support budgeting, cash flow monitoring, and financial controls.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 5-10 years of accounting experience, including a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and local tax laws.
• Experience with ERP/accounting systems (SAP, Oracle, Odoo, etc.).
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Strong attention to detail and leadership capabilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• CMA, CPA, ACCA, or equivalent certification.
• Experience in [industry: Manufacturing / Real Estate / Trading / Services].
• Prior experience managing audits and tax inspections.
