What you´ll do

• Lead, motivate, and coach team members, providing technical support on complex topics, conducting performance and development discussions, and fostering a high engagement, collaborative environment. 
• Oversee daily and monthly execution of all GACO processes, including Cost Center Accounting, Product Costing, Travel & Expenses, Financial Reporting, Bank Accounting, Fixed Assets, and Month End Closing, ensuring timely and accurate close activities with full adherence to internal controls.
• Manage operational performance by monitoring KPIs, SLAs, and quality standards, planning and allocating resources based on business needs, and initiating corrective actions when required. 
• Act as the primary stakeholder contact, ensuring high-quality process delivery, addressing issues and escalations promptly, and maintaining clear and proactive communication to drive stakeholder satisfaction. 
• Drive continuous improvement by identifying and promoting opportunities for process optimization, automation, and standardization, and supporting system enhancements and transformation initiatives. 
• Support governance and cross-functional activities, contributing to audit readiness, participating in cross-functional projects, and representing the GACO team in relevant meetings, discussions, and strategic forums.

What makes you a good fit

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. 
• 6 - 8 years of solid experience in General Accounting or Controlling (GBS/shared service experience preferred). 
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to develop and inspire teams. 
• Strong SAP knowledge (FI/CO & GA modules). 
• Excellent communication, analytical, and stakeholder management capabilities.
