Job Description

• Cost Analysis: Perform detailed analysis of actual production costs and investigate significant variances.
• Inventory Management: Oversee inventory valuation, reconcile physical inventory with the ledger.
• Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of the annual budget and periodic forecasts for manufacturing expenses and Cost of Goods Sold (COGS).
• Process Improvement: Identify "cost drivers" and suggest strategies to reduce waste and improve gross margins.
• Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual cost reports for senior management, focusing on profitability by product line or project.
• Handle all daily financial transactions, ensuring the accuracy of financial records, and preparing comprehensive financial reports.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience 3 - 5 years of progressive experience in cost accounting, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Professional certification such as CMA (Certified Management Accountant) or CPA is preferred.
• High proficiency in ERP software.
• Ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable business insights.
• Exceptional accuracy in prepare financial records and calculating unit costs.
• 6th of October City residents only.
