We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join a well-established multi-disciplinary automotive group in Lebanon. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing daily accounting operations and supporting VAT and tax compliance in accordance with Lebanese regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage accounts payable processes, including verifying, allocating, posting, and reconciling transactions

• Maintain accurate records of prepaid expenses and fixed assets

• Handle cash transactions, petty cash management, and general expense entries

• Process payroll entries and record employee-related expenses in compliance with National Social Security Fund (NSSF) regulations

• Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports

• Support VAT registration, calculation, and filing in accordance with Ministry of Finance requirements

• Ensure compliance with Lebanese tax laws, including corporate income tax and payroll tax regulations

• Support audits and respond to internal and external financial inquiries when required

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field

• 1-2 years of relevant accounting experience in Lebanon

• Strong knowledge of Lebanese VAT and tax regulations

• Familiarity with NSSF declarations and payroll compliance

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Experience with Odoo ERP is a plus

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

• Good analytical and organizational skills
