Chief Accountant (Construction Background)
Location: UAE
Contract Duration: 2 Months (Contractual Role)
Salary: AED 10,000 – 10,500 per month
Availability: Immediate Joiners Only
Visa Requirement: Candidates must have their own valid visa

Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Chief Accountant with a strong background in the construction industry for a short-term, 2-month contractual assignment. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, detail-oriented, and capable of managing financial operations independently within a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, and receivable
• Manage project accounting, cost tracking, and budget monitoring for construction projects
• Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and reconciliations
• Ensure compliance with UAE financial regulations and company policies
• Handle cash flow management, forecasting, and financial planning
• Coordinate with auditors and support audit requirements
• Monitor expenses, identify cost-saving opportunities, and ensure financial accuracy
• Supervise and guide junior accounting staff if required

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Chief Accountant or Senior Accountant within the construction industry
• Strong knowledge of project accounting, costing, and financial reporting
• Proficiency in accounting software/ERP systems
• Solid understanding of UAE financial regulations and VAT
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
• Must be available to join immediately
• Must hold a valid UAE visa (own visa required)

Preferred:

• Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CPA, or CA (part/full qualified)
