About Eaton Souriau Tangier

Eaton Souriau Tangier is a key industrial site of the Eaton Group, specialized in the design and manufacturing of high‑performance interconnection solutions for demanding markets such as aerospace, industrial, automotive and medical.

The Tangier site employs more than 700 people and operates in an international, structured environment with strong requirements in quality, compliance and operational excellence. Finance teams play a central role in supporting site performance and ensuring reliable, compliant operations.

What you’ll do:

As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the end‑to‑end vendor payment process for domestic and international suppliers. Your role ensures accurate invoice processing, timely payments, effective issue resolution, and full compliance with internal controls and local regulations.

Key responsibilities include:

• Invoice Processing
  • Receive, verify, and process supplier invoices in Oracle, in close collaboration with Shared Service Centers.
  • Ensure correct accounting, coding, and approval workflows, especially for non‑PO invoices.
  • Investigate discrepancies and follow up on missing or incomplete documentation.
• Payment Execution
  • Monitor payment runs and ensure timely and accurate disbursement of vendor payments.
• Exception Handling
  • Identify and resolve common system or process error codes.
  • Work closely with Vendor Master Data and Finance teams to clear payment blocks and issues.
• Compliance & Controls
  • Adhere strictly to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for domestic payments in Morocco.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and support internal and external audits.
• Communication & Collaboration
  • Act as a key point of contact for vendors, procurement, and finance teams.
  • Participate in regular meetings to ensure alignment and operational continuity.
  • Raise local Accounts Receivable (AR) invoices when required.

Qualifications & Skills

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or equivalent education.
• 2–4 years of experience in Accounts Payable or a similar finance role.

Skills & Competencies

• Experience working with consultants and cross‑functional stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Oracle, SAP, or similar ERP systems.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Fluency in English and French.
• Ability to work independently while consistently meeting deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Team‑oriented mindset with the ability to follow standard processes, practices, and policies.
• Comfortable working in a dynamic environment and dealing with ambiguity.
