Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled Chief Accountant to lead the accounting team and oversee all daily accounting operations, including reviewing journal entries (sales, purchases, expenses, payroll) and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records in accordance with international accounting standards. The role is responsible for monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities, preparing the trial balance, coordinating with warehouse managers for periodic inventory counts, and approving reconciliation adjustments. The position also oversees collections from retail stores and ensures timely deposits into AlAhli Bank or Alinma Bank.

???? Job Objective To directly supervise all daily accounting operations, ensure the accuracy of journal entries and financial reports, and enforce the company’s financial policies through the Odoo system, ensuring financial and tax compliance while improving operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities1) Daily Supervision & Control Lead the accounting team and assign tasks Review and approve daily journal entries Monitor cash collections and bank deposits2) Closing & Financial Reporting Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual closing Prepare trial balances and periodic financial reports Analyze expenses and revenues and ensure accurate accounting classification3) Inventory & Production Cost Management Coordinate with warehouses for periodic inventory counts Approve adjustments between physical and book inventory Monitor production costs and update them regularly4) Tax & Zakat Compliance Prepare VAT and Zakat returns Ensure timely submission of all tax filings Monitor updates in tax regulations

Qualifications & Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (professional certifications such as SOCPA or CPA preferred)5–7 years of accounting experience, including 3 years in a Chief Accountant or Finance Supervisor role Experience in retail operations with multiple branches and warehouses Proficiency in Odoo ERPStrong knowledge of IFRS standards
