About QuickTax Accounting

QuickTax Accounting is an international SaaS company providing streamlined accounting and tax solutions for SMEs in the UAE. We operate 100% online, making financial services simple, reliable, and accessible for modern entrepreneurs.

The Opportunity

We are expanding our accounting team and looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Accountant who understands UAE regulations and can manage accounting for multiple clients in a fast-paced digital environment.

Your main responsibility will be maintaining accurate accounting records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring VAT compliance for UAE-based businesses.

Your Role

Full-Cycle Accounting

• Manage the complete accounting cycle for client companies
• Handle bookkeeping, reconciliations, and financial reporting

Financial Reporting

• Prepare and review financial statements including:
  • Balance Sheet
  • Profit & Loss Statements
  • Cash Flow reports when required

VAT Compliance

• Prepare VAT returns and perform VAT reconciliations
• Ensure correct VAT treatment for:
  • Services
  • Goods
  • Imports & exports
  • Digital services

Bank & Account Reconciliation

• Perform regular bank reconciliations
• Verify accounting accuracy across systems

ERP & Accounting Systems

• Work with platforms such as:
  • Zoho Books
  • Odoo
  • QuickBooks Online
  • Xero

Client Communication

• Communicate with clients to collect financial information
• Clarify transactions and explain accounting matters professionally

Accounting Analysis

• Identify discrepancies in financial data
• Investigate mismatched balances and VAT inconsistencies
• Ensure proper accounting treatment

Requirements & Skills

Experience

• Experience in full-cycle accounting
• Experience preparing financial statements

UAE Tax Knowledge

• Strong understanding of UAE VAT regulations
• Basic understanding of UAE Corporate Tax

Accounting Systems

• Experience using:
  • Zoho Books
  • Odoo
  • QuickBooks Online
  • Xero

Technical Skills

• Strong proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets

Analytical Skills

• Ability to analyze financial data and resolve discrepancies

Communication Skills

• Professional communication with clients
• Ability to explain accounting concepts clearly

Organization

• Ability to manage accounting for multiple companies
• Meet VAT reporting deadlines efficiently

Preferred Candidate

• Knowledge and practical experience in UAE tax regulations
