Main tasks:
Bookkeeping:
- Administer and maintain the project’s financial system accurately and in a timely manner.
- Manage books, invoices, income, expenses, and funds for the projects using different bookkeeping systems.
- Check purchase invoices, verify signatures, and record transactions.
- Contribute to the preparation of periodic financial reports for donors and monthly financial reports for project managers and the country director.
- Provide financial data for the preparation of trimester financial reports and the annual report.
- Respond to inquiries from the Services and support manager and the director regarding financial figures.
- reviewing budget and expenditure documents.
- Check and verify invoices, receipts, and reports submitted by partners.
- Maintain a proper statement of account for each partner.
- Issue payments for partner NGOs if needed.
- Contribute to providing financial statements.
- Prepare the cash flow of the project.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Participate in various tasks and taskforces, including joining special taskforces to innovate and improve work processes.
- Support project staff members when required.
- Audit other projects financially upon request.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by the management team of Dorcas/Tabitha.
- Create/update projects budgets and their forecast.
