The Accounting Assistant is expected to manage expense reports and reimbursements, enter financial transactions into IFZA's internal databases, and reconciling invoices. The role is essential in ensuring the accounting procedures run smoothly, ensuring transparency and efficiency in all transactions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent attention to detail, analytical thinking and precision.
Main Responsibilities:
- Reconciling invoices, statement of accounts, and identifying discrepancies
- Communicating with Partners in a timely manner
- Creating and updating expense reports
- Processing reimbursement forms
- Preparing bank deposits
- Entering financial transactions into internal databases
- Checking spreadsheets for accuracy
- Maintaining digital and physical financial records
- Issuing invoices to customers and external partners, as needed
- Participating in quarterly and annual audits
- Performing other job-related duties as assigned by Management
Requirements
- Degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Minimum 1-2 years’ accounting experience.
- Fluency in English. Additional spoken languages are a plus.
- Strong analytical skills as well as process oriented.
- Prior working knowledge in ERP systems (ex: ZOHO) is beneficial.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office tools such as Excel, Power Point etc.
- Detail-oriented and organized.
- Ability to meet key deadlines.
- Innovative in approach to problem solving.
- Ability to operate effectively under demanding timelines.
