Job Description
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Ensure financial reports comply with accounting standards and regulations.
- Develop, manage, and monitor the organization’s budget.
- Conduct financial forecasting and analysis to support strategic decision-making.
- Lead and manage the accounting team, including hiring, training, and performance evaluation.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring timely invoice processing and payments.
- Coordinate and support external audits, providing required documentation and explanations.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive cost accounting policies and procedures.
- Provide management-level support for budgeting and forecasting, including variance and cost trend analysis.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate monthly and quarterly reporting of inventory, cost of goods sold, and other financial data.
- Assist in preparing business plans, financial models, and analyses for new initiatives.
- Work closely with the Hospitality department on inventory management.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or CMA is a plus).
- Proven experience as an Accounting Manager, with strong knowledge of cost control and financial analysis.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and reporting standards.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing accounting teams.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines.
