Job Title: Accountant
Location: Dubai, UAE
Job Summary
We are partnering with a leading single family office in Dubai to hire an experienced Accountant. The role focuses on managing accounts receivables, corporate reporting, and sales analysis. The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of accounting experience in the UAE, with a strong background in credit management, collections, and reporting within a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities

Assess creditworthiness of customers and monitor credit limits.

Follow up on overdue invoices and maintain accurate debt-chasing records.

Handle disputed bills and negotiate payments within agreed terms.

Ensure invoices are accurate and approved (GL code, VAT, revenue recognition).

Process and allocate receipts and payments accurately and reconcile accounts.

Prepare monthly reports including sales flash, MEP for HFM, and internal sales analysis.

Assist in forecasts, budgets, and 3-year plan submissions.

Provide regular updates on customer accounts and outstanding balances.

Maintain strong relationships with sales teams and customers to resolve queries.

Support audits and ensure compliance with company policies.

Ensure VAT filing and corporate tax compliance.

Keep credit management, credit note, and bank charge policies up to date.
Qualifications and Skills

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or CPA equivalent.

Minimum 4 years' accounting experience in the UAE.

Strong understanding of credit management and collections.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and ERP software (e.g., SAP B1).

High accuracy, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
