Job Title: Accountant Location: Dubai, UAE Job Summary We are partnering with a leading single family office in Dubai to hire an experienced Accountant. The role focuses on managing accounts receivables, corporate reporting, and sales analysis. The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of accounting experience in the UAE, with a strong background in credit management, collections, and reporting within a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities - Assess creditworthiness of customers and monitor credit limits. - Follow up on overdue invoices and maintain accurate debt-chasing records. - Handle disputed bills and negotiate payments within agreed terms. - Ensure invoices are accurate and approved (GL code, VAT, revenue recognition). - Process and allocate receipts and payments accurately and reconcile accounts. - Prepare monthly reports including sales flash, MEP for HFM, and internal sales analysis. - Assist in forecasts, budgets, and 3-year plan submissions. - Provide regular updates on customer accounts and outstanding balances. - Maintain strong relationships with sales teams and customers to resolve queries. - Support audits and ensure compliance with company policies. - Ensure VAT filing and corporate tax compliance. - Keep credit management, credit note, and bank charge policies up to date. Qualifications and Skills - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or CPA equivalent. - Minimum 4 years' accounting experience in the UAE. - Strong understanding of credit management and collections. - Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. - Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and ERP software (e.g., SAP B1). - High accuracy, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
