Job Summary:
Detail-oriented and experienced General Accountant to assist in the financial reporting and reconciliation of various accounts.
The ideal candidate should have strong accounting knowledge, analytical skills, and proficiency in accounting software.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain financial records, including general ledger entries, reconciliations, and journal entries.
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Reconcile bank statements and financial discrepancies by analyzing account details.
- Assist in preparing financial statements and reports
- Assist in tax preparation, including VAT and corporate tax
المهارات
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting;
- Proven experience as a General Accountant in the UAE (2 to 3 years experience)
- CPA or equivalent certification (preferred but not required).
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and UAE tax laws.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) and well versed in MS Excel.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a firm yet diplomatic approach to collections.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting
- Ability to manage multiple entities and prioritize tasks in a deadline-driven environment.
Preferred Attributes:
• Experience in a multi-entity or Group structure.
• Background in a service-based business model.
