We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join our growing team in Dubai. This role is critical to maintaining the financial health and regulatory compliance of the organization. The successful candidate will manage day-to-day accounting operations, oversee financial reporting, support budgeting and forecasting, and ensure compliance with local and international financial regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain accurate financial records
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Handle VAT and corporate tax filings in compliance with UAE and GCC regulations
• Lead month-end and year-end closing processes
• Support internal and external audits, ensuring readiness and accuracy
• Analyze financial data to assist in strategic decision-making
• Collaborate with the finance team to improve reporting accuracy and process efficiency
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cost control initiatives

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Professional certifications (CPA, ACCA, or equivalent) are highly desirable
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and GAAP standards
• Proven experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and tax compliance
• Familiarity with UAE and GCC VAT and corporate tax regulations
• Proficient in accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., QuickBooks, Microsoft Dynamics, SAGE)
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience with financial modelling
• Excellent communication, analytical, and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Must be based in Dubai
• Experience in the finance or investment industry is a plus
• International exposure to jurisdictions such as the USA, Switzerland, Luxembourg, or the UK is an added advantage
