Job Description
- Handle all bookkeeping processes from transaction recording to trial balance preparation.
- Maintain general ledger, journal entries, sub-ledgers, and ensure all records are accurate and complete.
- Oversee accounts receivable, accounts payable, petty cash, and account reconciliations.
- Manage the documentary accounting cycle (invoices, POs, receipts, bank documents, etc.) and organize both physical and digital archives.
- Prepare trial balances, balance sheets, and profit & loss statements.
- Reconcile manual ledgers with system data and maintain full audit trails.
- Develop and manage structured Excel spreadsheets for reconciliation, tracking, and reporting.
- Support compliance and tax filing processes (VAT, income tax, etc.).
- Coordinate with management and external auditors on financial and documentary matters.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 10+ years of solid experience in accounting and bookkeeping roles.
- Proven experience in documentary cycles, trial balances, and ledger preparation.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and documentation workflows.
- Familiarity with accounting software (QuickBooks or similar) is a plus.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken).
