Job Overview: Here's your chance to step into the role of Senior Accountant – GL and Reconciliation at Dubai Holding Group Services. In this position, you'll take on key responsibilities that include:

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform daily general ledger (GL) operations and assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closings
• Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations, investigate discrepancies, and maintain reconciliation tracking
• Analyze GL data to identify trends and variances; provide variance explanations to senior management
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS), and policies
• Support financial reporting and regulatory filings
• Prepare audit schedules and assist with internal and external audits
• Collaborate with finance, internal audit, and operations teams to ensure data accuracy and reporting alignment
• Drive continuous improvement in reconciliation, reporting, and compliance processes
• Identify opportunities for cost savings and workflow efficiency.

About you: The preferred candidate for this role should possess the following experience and credentials

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in finance, Business, or related field; CA, CPA, or ACCA certification preferred
• Experience: 2–3 years in financial reporting, general ledger, and financial close processes

Technical Skills:

• Proficient in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle Fusion, Workday)
• Experience with tools like ARCS, Blackline, RPA, and AI-driven analytics
• Strong grasp of GAAP/IFRS and revenue recognition principles
