Job Title
Lead Specialist - Financial Reporting
Job Scope
The Lead Specialist - Financial Reporting is responsible for owning and coordinating the month-end process and activities, including account reconciliations, financial analysis, and management reporting, while performing accurate data entry.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform closing activities on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis;
- Prepare weekly consolidated cash flow statements and prepare the consolidated monthly financial statements, and the QBR.
- Prepare the quarterly and annual budgets in coordination with internal stakeholders.
- Conduct periodic financial analysis and critical reviews, and report to concerned supporting management decisions;
- Prepare special reports requested by management/direct manager;
- Work on BI validation and reconciliation of reports
- Support auditing activities and assist in the preparation of various schedules related to periodic audits.
- Work on business plans and scenario analysis used for decision-making
- Ensure the existing IT platform is optimally utilized and participate in the implementation of new systems/processes.
Position Requirements
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or any other related field.Masters degree is a plus
Experience
- A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is required.
- A master’s degree is an advantage.
- CPA or other professional certification is preferred.
- Experience
- At least 7 years of experience in financial reporting, consolidation, budgeting, and analysis.
- Proven expertise in preparing budgets, forecasts, and QBRs.
- Strong background in consolidation reporting and financial statement preparation.
