Job Description
- Determine the project's financial position and secure the necessary liquidity in coordination with the company's financial manager and project manager, after preparing the project's requirements.
- Monitor project expenditures, analyze variances, and implement corrective actions as needed to ensure financial targets are met.
- Follow up on the project's crises with third parties, safeguard its rights with suppliers and subcontractors, and pay the required percentage of project insurance.
- Supervise the settlement of monthly subcontractor invoices and monitor their disbursements in coordination with the company's finance department.
- Receive project invoices and prepare disbursement receipts from labor lists and necessary settlement statements in accordance with the financial documentation approved by the finance department.
- Monitor the project's financial items and prepare the latest periodic reports to the finance department.
- Follow up on project contractor insurance, create a file for them, and pay the required percentages (extract insurance).
- Participate in warehouse stock inventory committees.
- Control site cash and manage financial flow.
- Manage labor payments and files.
- Ensure financial claims from subcontractors match their records.
- Report financial actions and status to the accounting manager.
Job Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- +5 years of experience Construction accountant Function.
- Proven experience as an accountant, Specialized in the construction projects is a MUST.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite, particularly Excel for financial analysis and reporting.
- Age is not more than 40 years.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Good English communication skills (spoken & written)
- Accuracy and attention to detail in financial record-keeping and reporting.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
- Commitment to maintaining high ethical standards and confidentiality in handling financial information.
- Collaborative approach to working within a team environment and supporting site operations.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and deadlines.
