Job Description

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure all accounting practices adhere to local, regional, and international laws relevant to the food industry.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors during financial and compliance audits.
• Review and interpret contracts, agreements, and other legal documents for financial implications.
• Monitor and report on regulatory changes affecting accounting and financial reporting.
• Assist in the preparation and submission of tax filings and statutory reports.
• Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to mitigate financial risks.
• Support the implementation of internal controls to safeguard company assets.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies or compliance issues in financial documents.
• Provide guidance to management on legal accounting matters and best practices.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Law, or a related field.
• 0-3 years of experience in accounting, preferably with exposure to legal compliance.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and relevant legal regulations.
• Experience in preparing financial statements and statutory reports.
• Familiarity with tax laws and regulatory reporting requirements.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in an office-based, fast-paced environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
