Accountant

Job Summary

As Accountant, you will play a vital role in ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance. You will support the finance team with day-to-day accounting tasks, assist in preparing financial statements, and work closely with other departments to maintain financial accuracy.

Job Responsibilities

• Accounts Maintenance: Record, classify, and summarize financial transactions accurately in the accounting system.

• Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of financial statements and ensure timely reporting.

• Reconciliations: Conduct bank and account reconciliations to verify the accuracy of financial data.

• Payroll Support: Assist with payroll calculations and related financial operations.

• Compliance: Ensure compliance with financial regulations, company policies, and internal controls.

• Tax Filings: Support tax filings and statutory compliance.

• Data Management: Maintain and update financial records in the companys accounting systems.

Key Requirements

• Education: Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Experience: 1-2 years of experience in accounting or a related role.

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel.

• Language Proficiency: Good to Very Good in English.

• Soft Skills: Attention to detail, strong analytical abilities, and excellent organizational skills.

• Certifications: CMA or CPA (preferred but not required).

• Working Hours: Fixed (8 hours per day, Friday and Saturday off)
