We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to execute, maintain manage financial operations and reporting for our organization in Dubai. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate financial records, compliance with regulatory requirements, and effective budget control. This role involves overseeing accounts payable and receivable, preparing financial reports, and working closely with internal teams to support business decision-making. Additionally, the Accountant will play a key role in streamlining financial processes and enhancing financial efficiency and must have Hands-on approach.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute daily financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting policies and standards.
- Monitor and control accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
- Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and reconciliations for accuracy and completeness.
- Ensure compliance with local tax regulations, VAT filings, and financial reporting requirements.
- Develop and implement internal controls to prevent errors and financial discrepancies.
- Work closely with auditors, regulatory bodies, and external consultants to maintain financial transparency.
- Support budgeting and forecasting activities to align financial planning with business objectives.
- Analyze financial data to provide insights and recommendations for cost control and operational improvements.
- Ensure smooth payroll processing, expense management, and financial documentation.
- Stay updated on industry financial trends, accounting regulations, and best practices to enhance financial operations.
Skills
Qualifications:
- Commerce graduate. Professional accounting qualification like ACCA will be an advantage.
- At least 5 years of experience in financial management, accounting,
- Proficiency in accounting software, ERP systems, and financial reporting tools.
- Corporate Tax , VAT regulations, and local accounting standards. (Strong knowledge of IFRS is an advantage)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Proven ability to manage multiple financial tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong relationship skills to work and in good co-ordination with other departments
- Fluency in English; Arabic proficiency is an advantage.
