Job Responsibilities
• Record fixed assets and calculate the depreciation.
• Prepare payroll, nssf schedule.
• Overseeing monthly bank and account reconciliations across multiple entities, ensuring financial transparency and accuracy
• Maintain accrual and prepaid accounts and perform monthly reconciliations.
• Preparing VAT, income tax, and MOF declarations to meet regulatory requirements in Lebanon.
• Ensure accurate and timely month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Coordinate with external auditors to ensure compliance with applicable laws and standards.
• Implement and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets.
• Maintain inventory records and follow up on shipment costing.
• Assist in the preparation of the company’s financial statements.
• Analyse the trial balance to ensure accuracy in financial records, identify discrepancies, and make necessary adjustments.
• Supervise and mentor the accounting team, fostering continuous professional development.
• Ensure proper recording of financial transactions.

Requirements
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in accounting, including at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of Lebanese accounting standards, the Lebanese chart of accounts, and local tax regulations.
• Proficiency in accounting software (preferably Visual Dolphin).
• Proven proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure.
• Fluency in English and Arabic
