Future Information Systems (FIS) is a leading technology company with over 26 years of experience in developing advanced financial, banking, insurance, and digital transformation systems. Our solutions power major financial institutions, microfinance companies, insurance providers, and enterprises across Palestine and other regional markets.

We specialize in lending systems, Islamic finance solutions, enterprise accounting, insurance systems and digital financial platforms, and we are expanding our team to support our rapidly growing portfolio.

FIS is looking to recruit a Finance Systems Business Analyst to support the growing demand for our RHODES Finance and Accounting Systems and to strengthen our product and delivery teams.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role based in our Ramallah office for a Finance Systems Business Analyst supporting the RHODES Finance and Accounting Systems. The role involves analyzing financial requirements, contributing to system configuration, documenting business processes, supporting client implementations, and participating in pre-sales demos when required. The analyst will collaborate with developers, product specialists, and client finance teams to enhance system features and support UAT and training activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze financial and accounting requirements for RHODES Finance and Accounting implementations.
  • Participate in designing and configuring financial products, repayment schedules, fees and GL mappings.
  • Support system development by translating business needs into clear functional specifications.
  • Document business processes, user journeys, and system requirements.
  • Conduct UAT, data migration validation and client onboarding sessions.
  • Deliver training sessions for finance, accounting and credit teams at client sites.
  • Collaborate with developers and the Team Leader to enhance system functionalities.
  • Support ongoing projects with microfinance institutions, insurance companies, and financial entities.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, MIS, Computer Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience working with financial and accounting systems (ERP, lending systems, or enterprise financial platforms).
    Strong understanding of financial workflows (journal entries, GL, loans, repayments).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good English communication skills (reading & writing).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with ERP or financial software (SAP, Oracle, Dynamics, Odoo, or similar).
  • Exposure to lending, microfinance or Islamic finance.
  • Experience in business analysis or system implementation.
  • Ability to produce documentation, BRDs, and functional specifications.
