Tamatem’s Accounting Representative As an Accounting Representative at Tamatem, you will support the Finance team in all day-to-day transactions, contributing to accurate results in monthly and yearly reports, and assisting with HR-related financial tasks.
Your role within Tamatem’s world: * Maintain general ledger, including preparing journal entries, reconciliation, and closing books monthly.
* Prepare reports on accounting payables and receivables, record fixed assets, and calculate and record depreciation on a monthly basis.
* Perform accounts payable duties, such as preparing payments and arranging settlements in accordance with payment terms and instructions.
* Perform monthly bank reconciliation.
Update the bank account balance report daily and ensure sufficient funds are in the account.
* Register/book all incoming and outgoing transactions.
* Record daily sales and issue invoices/cash receipts.
* Prepare Sales Tax Endorsement.
* Manage employees’ social security registration and contributions.
* Handle employees' income tax calculations and submissions.
* Prepare employment letters, salary certificates, and other HR-related financial documents.
* Any other tasks assigned by superiors in the finance department or at the company level.
Requirements: * Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.
* 0-2 years of experience.
* Preferably knowledgeable in QuickBooks accounting system.
Required Skills & Knowledge: * Ability to multitask.
* Ability to prioritize tasks based on business requirements.
* Ability to think outside the box.
* Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
* Excellent command of written and spoken Arabic and English languages.
Required Knowledge: * MS Office Suite.
* Online banking systems.
