Responsibilities:

  1. Manage all aspects of the company's financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local regulations.
  2. Prepare monthly financial statements, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow statements.
  3. Conduct regular audits of financial records to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  4. Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts, providing insights into financial trends and variances.
  5. Collaborate with other departments to streamline financial processes and enhance operational efficiency.
  6. Prepare and file tax returns in accordance with the UAE tax regulations.
  7. Maintain and reconcile bank statements, ensuring discrepancies are promptly addressed.
  8. Support the payroll process by ensuring accurate calculation and reporting of employee salaries and benefits.
  9. Provide financial analysis and recommendations to management to support strategic decision-making.
  10. Stay updated on changes to financial regulations and best practices to ensure compliance and optimal performance.

Preferred Candidate:

  1. Proven experience as an accountant or in a similar financial role, preferably within the recruitment or service industry.
  2. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices, as well as financial regulations in the UAE.
  3. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  4. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  5. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of collaborating with diverse teams.
  6. Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

Skills

  • Accounting Software Proficiency: Familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle is essential for efficiently managing financial records and transactions.
  • Financial Reporting: Ability to prepare and interpret financial statements, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and providing insights for decision-making.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical abilities to assess financial data, identify trends, and make informed recommendations for financial strategies.
