Job Purpose
We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Assistant Accountant & Auditor to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will support daily accounting operations, assist in audit activities, and ensure the accuracy and compliance of financial records.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in day-to-day accounting tasks including AP/AR, ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.
- Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Conduct internal audit checks and verify the accuracy of financial documentation.
- Assist in preparing audit schedules and supporting documents for external audits.
- Maintain proper filing and organization of financial records and documentation.
- Prepare VAT filings and ensure compliance with UAE tax regulations.
- Monitor expenses, petty cash, and other financial transactions.
- Coordinate with internal departments to gather financial information when required.
المهارات
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in accounting or audit roles (UAE experience is an advantage).
- Strong knowledge of basic accounting principles and financial procedures.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, or similar).
- Good understanding of UAE VAT laws and general accounting standards.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Good communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus).
