Primary Purpose of the Job

Manages QatarEnergy local product sales and SEEF invoicing and collections and ensure sales are recorded and accounted with approved agreements & contracts.

Maintains optimum job workflow in product accounting financial business operations section under the guidance of Head & Accountants of the Section. Takes a lead role in providing ideas, findings & other information for improving current systems to enhance the efficiency & effectiveness of service delivery in the section.

Required Experience and Skills

• 5 - 8 years’ experience in Accounting & Finance function with MS Office skills.
• Preferably experience in Oil and Gas industry.
• Good communication skills, good clerical skills and basic analytical accountancy skills.
• Holder of this position should have minimum 3 years of experience within Sales & Receivables sections of QatarEnergy finance and he/she should have extensive knowledge of overall activities in Sales & Receivables section.
• Contribute to the Development of Qatari Nationals assigned.
• Interact with Assistant Manager & Head for issues of high importance relating to agreements & Management Accounting Reports relating to Sales & Receivables function.
• Liaise with QatarEnergy Production, Logistics & Commercial departments (such as DL, Refinery, T&D, GP, OM, EPSA/DPSA Contractors, etc.) to obtain support services for smooth functioning of Sales & Receivables section.

Educational Qualifications

• Diploma or Higher Degree in Commerce / Business / Accounting, preferably with CPA or CMA certification
