Job Description
- Review project expenses, commitments, and subcontractor payments.
- Ensure accuracy of project-related financial data and reconcile accounts.
- Manage project cost accounting, budgeting, and progress tracking.
- Identify and analyze cost variances and recommend corrective actions.
- Prepare cost reports, cash flow forecasts, and financial analyses.
- Coordinate with project managers, procurement, and site teams to ensure accurate financial information.
Job Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in construction accounting.
- Prior work experience in a contracting company is essential.
- Strong understanding of project costing, WIP, and progress billing.
- Advanced Excel skills, including complex functions and data analysis.
- Excellent English proficiency (written and spoken).
- Ability to analyze cost variances and provide insights.
- High accuracy in handling large datasets.
- Strong time management and ability to work under deadlines.
