We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Accountant to join our dynamic team at a leading Recruitment & Employee Placement Agency in Al Kuwait. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing financial records, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing insightful financial analysis to support business decisions. This position requires a blend of technical accounting skills and the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial statements, preparing budgets, and assisting in audits, while also contributing to the overall financial strategy of the organization.

Responsibilities:

1.      Maintain and update financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

1. Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, to provide insights into the company's financial performance.
2. Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts, collaborating closely with department heads to align financial goals with business objectives.
3. Conduct regular reconciliations of bank statements and general ledger accounts to ensure the integrity of financial data.
4. Prepare and submit timely tax returns and ensure compliance with all tax regulations and deadlines.
5. Support the external audit process by providing necessary documentation and responding to auditor inquiries.
6. Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard the company's assets and ensure the reliability of financial reporting.
7. Provide financial advice and support to management and other departments to facilitate informed decision-making.
8. Stay updated on the latest accounting standards and changes in regulations to ensure the company remains compliant.
9. Assist in training and mentoring junior accounting staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.

Preferred Candidate:

1.      Proven experience as an Accountant or in a similar financial role, with a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.

2.      Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.

3.      Strong attention to detail and accuracy, ensuring that all financial records are meticulously maintained.

4.      Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders.

5.      Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

6.      Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel, with strong technical skills to streamline financial processes.

7.      Knowledge of local tax laws and regulations, ensuring compliance and minimizing tax liabilities.

8.      Strong problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing financial issues.

9.      Commitment to professional development and staying current with industry trends and best practices.

10. A bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred; additional certifications such as CPA or CMA are a plus.
