Job Description

• Oversee daily accounting operations for all retail branches, ensuring accurate recording of financial transactions.
• Supervise the month-end and year-end closing processes and prepare financial statements in accordance with accounting standards.
• Monitor, review, and reconcile accounts, including inventory, payables, receivables, and store cash reports.
• Analyze retail sales performance, gross margins, and cost variances to support decision-making.
• Ensure full compliance with internal control policies, taxation laws, and external audit requirements.
• Coordinate with store managers and supply chain teams to validate inventory movements and stock adjustments.
• Prepare periodic financial reports, budgets, and forecasts for management review.
• Manage and mentor the accounting team, ensuring accuracy, performance, and continuous process improvement.
• Collaborate with internal departments (HR, Procurement, Operations) to enhance financial workflows and optimize cost efficiency.
• Review and approve payment cycles, journal entries, and all financial documents related to retail operations.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 7–10 years of experience in accounting, with at least 3 years in a senior or supervisory role.
• Strong experience in retail accounting is highly preferred.
• Excellent knowledge of accounting standards, taxation, and internal controls.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Leadership capabilities with the ability to manage teams and meet strict deadlines.
