Accounting and Financial Analyst: Key Responsibilities

Core Accounting & Financial Operations

• Execute precise preparation and analysis of accounting records, financial statements, and related reports, guaranteeing adherence to reporting and procedural standards.
• Lead the efficient and accurate completion of month-end and year-end closing cycles, including all necessary journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Maintain the general ledger, ensuring all financial data is current, accurate, and properly documented.
• Oversee Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions, meticulously recording transactions and proactively resolving any accounting discrepancies.

Financial Strategy & Compliance

• Contribute to strategic business planning through the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and other financial planning models.
• Provide management with data-driven, actionable insights and recommendations derived from in-depth financial analysis and trend identification.
• Ensure full compliance with tax regulations by preparing and submitting required documentation and filings.
• Act as a primary liaison during internal and external audits, facilitating the process by supplying comprehensive documentation and explanations.

Process Improvement & Internal Controls

• Actively support the refinement and implementation of robust internal controls and standardized accounting procedures.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure organizational understanding and consistent adherence to established financial policies.
