As an ACCOUNTING ASSISTANT, the main goal is to ensure the rigorous and precise management of general and analytical accounting. This involves actively contributing to the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing process, ensuring compliance with current standards and internal procedures. You will participate in the optimization of financial flows and the production of reliable reports, thus providing valuable decision-making support to management. Your role will be to ensure the smooth running of accounting operations, minimize potential errors, and participate in the continuous improvement of existing processes for increased efficiency.

Your responsibilities will include the daily management of accounting operations, including entering transactions, monitoring bank reconciliations, and managing customer and supplier invoices. You will also be involved in preparing tax and social security declarations, as well as monitoring payments and follow-ups. Part of your mission will consist of participating in the preparation of financial statements and providing support during audits.

Required profile :

The company is looking for someone with a degree of Bac +4 (equivalent to a Bachelor's or Master's degree), demonstrating solid academic training. A successful specialization in Management, Accounting, or Finance is essential to fully grasp the challenges of the position.

Professional experience between 3 and 5 years is expected. This period should have been dedicated to similar roles, ideally in the distribution sector or a related sector, in order to quickly master the specifics of the position and the company's environment.

To excel in this role, a perfect mastery of fundamental accounting principles is essential. Excellent knowledge of computer tools, especially accounting software and office suites (advanced Excel), will be a major asset. Rigor, organization, autonomy, and a strong sense of responsibility are personal qualities that will enable you to succeed. Analytical and synthesis skills, as well as good interpersonal skills, will also be appreciated for effective collaboration within the team.
