Hanson Properties LLC is seeking a meticulous and professional Accountant to manage our financial operations and ensure our fiscal health remains as solid as the properties we represent.

In this role, you won't just be "crunching numbers"—you will be managing complex transactions, ensuring RERA compliance, and providing the financial clarity needed for our continued growth.

Key Responsibilities

1. Core Financial Management & Reporting

• Maintain complete and accurate books of accounts, recording all income, expenses, assets, and liabilities.

• Prepare comprehensive monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including P&L statements, balance sheets, and cash flow forecasts for management review.

• Manage the general ledger, accounts payable (vendor invoices), and accounts receivable (rental payments and management fees).

2. Real Estate Operations & Escrow Management

• Monitor and reconcile project Escrow accounts in strict accordance with Dubai Land Department (DLD) regulations.

• Accurately calculate and disburse agent commissions on time. Track property-specific income/expenses and maintenance costs.

• Assist in financial analysis for property investments to guide decision-making.

3. Taxation & Regulatory Compliance

• Manage VAT registrations and quarterly filings, ensuring all transactions align with Federal Tax Authority (FTA) standards.

• Handle all company tax filings and ensure timely payments in accordance with local UAE regulations.

• Prepare all documentation and act as the primary liaison for internal and external auditors during year-end financial reviews.

4. HR, Payroll & Analytics

• Execute payroll processing, salary accounting, and employee-related benefits (reimbursements, deductions) in compliance with UAE Labor Law.

• Create and maintain sophisticated Excel models for financial tracking, budgeting, and real-time management reporting.

• Implement audit recommendations to strengthen internal controls and financial transparency.

Required Skills & Qualifications

We require an accountant who understands the specific financial nuances of the UAE real estate sector.

1. Professional Experience & Education

• A mandatory 2–3 years of accounting experience specifically within the Dubai Real Estate sector.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Preference will be given to candidates with CPA, ACCA, CA, or equivalent professional certifications.

• Solid experience in general company accounting, including maintaining complete books, financial statements, and managing general ledgers.

2. Regulatory & Compliance Expertise

• Expert knowledge of UAE VAT laws and a deep understanding of RERA (Real Estate Regulatory Agency) and DLD (Dubai Land Department) financial guidelines.

• Proven ability to handle VAT registrations, quarterly filings, and the coordination of internal/external audits to ensure 100% compliance with FTA standards.

• Familiarity with UAE labor laws, HR/payroll systems, and statutory filings.

3. Technical & Software Proficiency

• High proficiency in industry-standard software such as Tally, QuickBooks, or Zoho Books.

• Power-user capabilities in MS Excel, including the use of advanced formulas, pivot tables, and complex financial modeling for reporting and forecasting.

• An uncompromising eye for detail, ensuring all financial data, asset tracking, and liability recording is error-free.

4. Professional Ethics & Soft Skills

• Unwavering ethical standards and the ability to manage highly sensitive financial data with total confidentiality.

• A self-starter who can manage competing deadlines, work independently, and deliver results under pressure.

• Strong written and verbal skills, capable of explaining complex financial reports to management and coordinating with external auditors or tax consultants.
