As IHG Hotels & Resorts continues its strategic growth in Qatar, we are seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Financial Accountant/Credit professional to manage accounting and credit control functions, ensuring accurate financial records, effective credit management, and compliance with company policies and financial standards.

A little taste of your day-to-day

Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be:

• Maintain accurate financial records in line with accounting standards and company policies
• Manage accounts receivable, credit approvals, and credit limits
• Monitor outstanding balances and follow up on overdue accounts
• Prepare monthly financial reports, reconciliations, and analysis
• Ensure timely invoicing and collection of receivables
• Coordinate with Sales and Operations regarding credit accounts and billing issues
• Process month-end and year-end closing processes
• Assist with internal and external audits
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and internal controls

What we need from you

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum 2–4 years of experience in accounting and/or credit control, preferably in hospitality
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Proficiency in accounting systems and Microsoft Excel
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
