Job :

  • Journalize all financial entries in the enterprise resource planning system for month-end closing activities.
  • Provide financial approval for purchase orders in the enterprise resource planning system.
  • Take responsibility for profit and loss statements by preparing and providing detailed accounting analyses of monthly and quarterly results to management.
  • Provide support to all users of accounting analytics and reports (mainly senior management and the Treasury team, among others).
  • Take responsibility for all ad-hoc analyses, memos, and reports.
  • Ensure continuous improvement of all content and formatting of all reports and presentations. Communicate with all business units at the local and corporate levels.
  • Obtain financial reports, namely profit and loss and balance sheet, from the enterprise resource planning systems.
  • Document financial data in MS Excel in the appropriate format for consolidation purposes.
  • Fixed asset additions/disposals/retirements.
  • Understand and document cash flow continuity reports.
  • Consolidate monthly reports for senior management teams.
  • Budget and forecast.
  • Prepare a forecasting model for annual budget documentation, quarterly forecasts, and monthly estimates.
  • Identify key performance indicators to understand the link between financial results and underlying drivers.

Required profile :

  • A higher education degree in Finance and Management Control.
  • Ability to work independently in a startup environment where change is constant.
  • Moroccan professional accounting title (required), knowledge of IFRS standards, and CPA designation (an asset).
  • Team spirit, dynamism, and autonomy.
  • Strong organizational skills, excellent ability to work well under pressure and manage tight deadlines.
  • Very good aptitude for analysis and ability to analyze results and underlying business trends.
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Proficiency in French and English, both spoken and written.
  • Ability to work alone and decision-making skills necessary to work in potentially demanding situations.
