Job Description
- Prepare, examine, and analyze accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.
- Maintain and update general ledger accounts and ensure all financial transactions are properly recorded.
- Assist in the preparation and submission of tax returns, ensuring compliance with Egyptian tax laws and regulations.
- Support the audit process by providing necessary documentation and responding to auditor inquiries.
- Collaborate with clients to provide accounting and tax consultancy, including advice on establishing new business entities.
- Manage bookkeeping activities, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations.
- Participate in the preparation of financial reports for management and regulatory authorities.
- Assist in resolving tax disputes and liaise with tax authorities as needed.
- Train and support client staff on accounting and tax-related matters.
- Stay updated on changes in accounting standards and tax legislation to ensure ongoing compliance.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of professional experience in accounting or finance roles.
- Strong knowledge of Egyptian accounting standards and tax regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with audit processes and financial reporting.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
