Key Job Responsibilities

1. Financial Planning & Control

• Prepare and monitor annual budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses.
• Ensure alignment of AllSports’ financial performance with approved business targets.
• Implement robust cost controls across operations, facilities, and marketing.

2. Accounting & Reporting

• Oversee general ledger, receivables, payables, and month-end closing.
• Prepare accurate MIS reports, P&L statements, and balance sheets.
• Manage reconciliation of revenue streams (memberships, bookings, sponsorships, and retail).

3. Cash Flow & Treasury Management

• Manage daily cash flow, working capital, and banking transactions.
• Oversee vendor payments, deposits, and customer receipts.
• Coordinate with Ventures Finance for fund requests and approvals.

4. Compliance & Governance

• Ensure adherence to internal financial policies, DOA, and audit standards.
• Liaise with auditors, banks, and external partners for reviews and statutory compliance.
• Maintain documentation for VAT, insurance, and lease obligations.

5. Business Support & Strategy

• Partner with Operations and Commercial teams to assess profitability of events, memberships, and rentals.
• Conduct cost-benefit analyses for new sports programs and facility expansions.
• Contribute to pricing strategies, promotions, and revenue optimization.

Education Qualification, Work Experience & Skills

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Commerce; CA / CPA / CMA / ACCA preferred.
• Minimum 8–15 years of experience in finance, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
• Prior experience in sports, leisure, hospitality, or service industries preferred.
• Strong understanding of ERP systems (Odoo, Oracle, SAP, or equivalent) and Excel-based analysis.

Key Result Areas: 

• Financial Planning & Budget Control: Prepare, monitor, and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and variance reports to ensure adherence within ±5% of approved targets.
• Reporting & Compliance: Ensure accurate and timely monthly financial statements, MIS reports, and VAT submissions in line with group timelines and audit requirements.
• Cash Flow & Cost Management: Maintain positive cash flow through effective working capital management and achieve cost optimization targets set for each quarter.
• Revenue Tracking & Profitability Analysis: Track revenues from memberships, events, rentals, and retail; provide insights to improve profitability and operational efficiency.
• Governance & Stakeholder Coordination: Ensure compliance with Delegation of Authority (DOA), audit observations, and coordinate effectively with Ventures Finance and AllSports operations teams.
