Job Description
- Process and manage employee payroll accurately and on schedule, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal regulations.
- Maintain and update payroll records, including new hires, terminations, salary adjustments, and benefits deductions.
- Collaborate with HR and Finance departments to reconcile payroll data and resolve discrepancies.
- Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly, and annual payroll reports for management and regulatory authorities.
- Ensure timely remittance of payroll taxes, social insurance, and other statutory deductions.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, compensation, and benefits in a professional and confidential manner.
- Assist in the implementation and maintenance of payroll systems and software.
- Support internal and external audits by providing necessary payroll documentation and explanations.
- Monitor changes in labor laws and regulations to ensure ongoing compliance.
- Contribute to process improvements and efficiency initiatives within the payroll and accounting functions.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2 to 5 years of proven experience in payroll accounting or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of payroll processes, labor laws, and statutory requirements.
- Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy in data entry and calculations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and discretion.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills to meet tight deadlines.
