Job Title: Financial Analyst
Location: Remote Egypt

Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Financial Analyst to join our growing finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing past financial performance to predict future trends, advising the leadership team on investment decisions, and ensuring the financial health of the organization. You will play a crucial part in forecasting, budgeting, and driving data-backed business strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Forecasting & Budgeting: Lead the annual budgeting process and monthly rolling forecasts. Analyze variances between actuals and forecasts to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for internal stakeholders and executive leadership. Develop financial models to support valuation, planning, and fundraising.
- Strategic Planning: Evaluate financial performance by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts. Provide creative alternatives and recommendations to reduce costs and improve financial performance.
- Market Trends Analysis: Monitor industry trends and competitor data to provide actionable insights.
- Process Improvement: Streamline financial processes and implement automated tools to increase efficiency and accuracy in reporting.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting and with cross-functional teams to track KPIs and financial metrics.
Must-Have Qualifications (Requirements)
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Experience: 2 years of experience in corporate finance, financial planning and analysis (FP&A), or investment banking.
- Technical Skills:
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).
- Solid understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Analytical Ability: Strong ability to synthesize large datasets into clear, actionable strategic insights.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts to non-finance stakeholders.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications (Preferred)
- Certifications: CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) or CPA (Certified Public Accountant) designation.
- Visualization Tools: Proficiency with Business Intelligence tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
