- Prepare, examine, and analyze accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.
- Monitor project budgets, track expenditures, and provide regular financial reports to project managers and senior leadership.
- Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
- Support external and internal audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure accurate cost allocation and financial tracking for ongoing construction projects.
- Maintain and update the general ledger and other financial records in accordance with company policies.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to the development of efficient accounting procedures.
