Job Description
- Maintain accurate financial records (GL, AP, AR).
- Prepare monthly financial statements and management reports.
- Monitor and control project costs (materials, labor, subcontractors).
- Review suppliers’ invoices and subcontractors’ payments against contracts.
- Support project budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Track project revenues, costs, and profitability.
- Prepare cost variance analysis and explain deviations.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
- Support external and internal audits.
- Coordinate with project managers and procurement teams.
- Ensure proper documentation and filing of financial transactions.
Job Requirements
- 5 to 8 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in MEP / construction, engineering, contracting, or construction sectors.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and reporting standards.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently in a hybrid work arrangement.
- High level of integrity and commitment to ethical financial practices.
- ERP experience (Odoo or similar systems preferred).
- Good command of English.
