Job Description
- Manage and oversee daily accounting operations related to inventory, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Monitor and reconcile inventory records, investigating discrepancies and implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Prepare and maintain detailed inventory reports, including stock levels, movements, and valuations.
- Coordinate with procurement, warehouse, and production teams to ensure accurate inventory tracking and timely updates.
- Conduct periodic physical inventory counts and audits to verify stock accuracy and integrity.
- Assist in the development and implementation of inventory control procedures and best practices.
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes by providing accurate inventory data and analysis.
- Analyze inventory trends, identify areas for improvement, and recommend strategies to optimize stock levels and reduce costs.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with external auditors during inventory audits and provide necessary documentation and explanations.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance.
- 3-5 years of proven experience in accounting and inventory control, preferably in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and inventory management systems.
- Proficiency in using accounting software ( Odoo ) and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
- Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple priorities.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and integrity of financial information.
- Willingness to work on-site in a fast-paced office environment.
