Job Description
- Main Responsibilities:
- As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for the entire digital financial system:
- Odoo Implementation & Management: Lead the full implementation cycle—configuration, customization, and daily administration of all vital Odoo modules, with a primary focus on Accounting, Invoicing, Expenses, Budgets, and Fixed Assets.
- Central Integration: Ensure seamless and effective integration between the Accounting module and the Purchasing, Inventory, Project Management, and Timesheet modules to create a unified, error-free system.
- Accurate Project Accounting: Precisely track material costs, labor, subcontractors, and site expenses for each project. Prepare regular project profitability reports for management decision-making.
- Financial Reporting & Compliance: Generate financial statements—Balance Sheets, Income Statements, and tax reports—directly from Odoo. Optimize processes to ensure full compliance with local regulations.
- Data Migration: Systematically clean and migrate historical financial data into the new system.
- Support & Training: Provide technical support to the team and document procedures.
Job Requirements
- Required Qualifications and Experience:
- 2-4 years of practical experience in accounting, with proven expertise in implementing or managing the Odoo system.
- Comprehensive, in-depth knowledge of Odoo's accounting and financial modules (Accounting, Invoicing, Expenses, Budgets, Analytic Accounting, Assets).
- Previous experience in the fit-out or contracting sector is highly preferred, to understand the nature of project accounting.
- Ability to work on-site at our office in Sheikh Zayed.
- A university degree in Accounting, Finance, or Management Information Systems.
