Responsibilities

MAIN RESPOSIBILITIES:

1.Check and verify daily invoices/bills for preparation for project audit and grant compliance.

2.Ensure all financial transactions strictly adhere to Policies and Procedures.

3.Check the program’s related contracts/proposals/agreements i.e., CBOs, SPs, Vendors etc.

4.Accounting entry to iScala.

5.Preparation of financial analysis and due monitoring of AWP vs Actual expenses for related project.

6.Bank/Cash payment verification and make sure that all supporting documents are provided contracts, invoices etc.

7.Preparation of monthly Finance Fund Monitoring report/monthly financial updates.

8.Preparation of Financial Report, funding position/Cash requests, forecasts for project.

9.Review of Annual Work Plan (AWP) for project in consultation with programme team.

10.Working in coordination with the project manager and support him with all reports that related to effectively management of financial project issues.

Qualifications

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Education:

•University Degree in Economics and professional qualification in accounting.

Experience:

1.Two years of experience in accounting field.

2.Experience in budget preparing, and good report writing skills.

3.Ability to work under pressure and meeting deadlines.

4.Good communication and teamwork skills.

5.Personal initiative and self-motivation.

6.Excellent level of English (written and spoken).

7.Good user of Microsoft Office programs.

Another requirement:

1.Not a government employee.

2.The ability to travel within Ref-Damascus and its countryside, as well as the rest of the provinces

3.The ability to commit to working with AKHS-S during official working hours.
