Job Description
- Develop and implement cost control systems and procedures to monitor project expenditures and budgets.
- Prepare detailed cost reports, forecasts, and variance analyses for ongoing projects and operations.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and finance teams to ensure accurate cost allocation and reporting.
- Monitor and analyze project budgets, identifying cost overruns and recommending corrective actions.
- Review and validate supplier and subcontractor invoices against contracts and project progress.
- Support tendering and procurement processes by providing cost estimates and analysis.
- Conduct regular site visits to verify progress and ensure alignment with budgeted costs.
- Prepare and present cost control documentation and reports to senior management.
- Assist in the development of project cash flow projections and financial planning.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements in all cost control activities.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, or a related field.
- 5 to 7 years of experience in cost control, within manufacturing or industrial sectors is a must.
- Proven experience in developing and managing cost control systems and procedures.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Proficiency in cost control software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
