Job Description

Position Overview

• As part of our outsourced client services team, the General Accountant will deliver professional accounting support to multiple client organizations.
• This role ensures accurate financial reporting, compliance with statutory requirements, and seamless integration with each client’s operations.
• Acting as a trusted partner, the accountant will manage day-to-day financial activities while providing insights that help clients make informed business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary accounting contact for assigned client portfolios.
• Record and maintain accurate financial transactions across client accounts.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements tailored to client needs.
• Reconcile bank accounts, vendor accounts, and intercompany balances for clients.
• Oversee accounts payable and receivable cycles, ensuring timely processing.
• Support client budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and client-specific policies.
• Coordinate with auditors and provide required documentation on behalf of clients.
• Maintain organized records of invoices, receipts, and supporting documents.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies, proactively advising clients on corrective actions.
• Recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and transparency for clients.

Job Requirements

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Advanced MS Excel skills for reporting and analysis.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with diverse client stakeholders.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple client accounts simultaneously.
• Bilingual proficiency (English and Arabic) is a plus for Egypt-based client services.
